The Day of the Coop Party/Fest is Finally Here

After months in the planning, weeks in the preparation, days in the cleaning, hours in the final set-up, and seconds in the worrying about it, The Coop Party/Fest is here. 

It got off to a rousing start last night with a fun-filled and sometimes vigorous gathering of 31 hungry/thirsty friends and relatives at El Palenque Mexican Restaurant in Spring, Texas. 

By 8:00 we were pleasantly full and joyously happy. But some of us were also margarita-pickled, tuckered-out tired, bone weary numb and drooply sleepy. 

All answered the call to go get some needed rest for Saturday's kickoff of the Coop Party, now just hours away. 

We have no idea what the weather (now 40% chance of rain) will bring, but we don't care. Rain or not, this party is ON...
